1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of dreambuildingconsultants.com (the “Site”), operated by Dream Building Consultants (“Dream Building Consultants,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. About our services

Dream Building Consultants provides Independent Facilitation services to California families participating in, or considering, the Self-Determination Program (SDP). The Site offers general information about the SDP process and about how we support families. Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only.

3. Not professional advice; no affiliation

The content on the Site is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice, and it does not create a professional or contractual relationship. You should not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional or from your Regional Center.

Dream Building Consultants is an independent private business. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the California Department of Developmental Services, any Regional Center, or any Financial Management Service. References to those entities are for informational purposes only.

4. No guarantee of outcomes

Decisions about eligibility, budgets, funding, and services in the Self-Determination Program are made by Regional Centers and other authorities — not by us. While we advocate for the families we serve, we cannot and do not guarantee any particular result, approval, or outcome.

5. Appropriate use of the Site

You agree to use the Site lawfully and to not:

• Submit false, misleading, or unauthorized information about yourself or another person;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
• Use the Site to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content; or
• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

6. Forms and submissions

When you submit a contact request or complete our intake and release forms, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to share it. Online intake forms are provided through a third-party, HIPAA-compliant service. Your use of those forms is also subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and design — are owned by Dream Building Consultants or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written permission.

8. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to, or rely on, third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties, and providing a link does not imply our endorsement.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute relating to the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California.
